Abstract
The most important event to happen in these latter days occurred in the Sacred Grove in Palmyra, New York. Here, the fourteen-year-old boy, Joseph Smith Jr., knelt down and, in response to fervent prayer, received a vision of God the Father and Jesus Christ. The nine contemporary accounts of the First Vision are included in the presentation.
